Chef & Bub is a special place that looking back, had been in the works for over a decade. One of our founders, Niagara born, Terri-Lynn lived in & criss-crossed the USA a few moons ago working with some of the top culinary brands in America. So some of that magic...it was bound to rub off on her.
The idea of a gourmet ice pop shop came from visiting so many of them in the Southern USA and through South America (paletas...yum). Why didn't us Canadians have the ability to taste the difference that real fruit and real ingredients make to a frozen treat?
Chef & Bub officially took flight when Ian (our other co-founder) and his culinary tastebuds and knowledge of chemistry arrived on the scene and he set out to make the BEST tasting Ice Pops in the world using simple ingredients and real fruit, herbs & spices.
Chef & Bub is a place where fresh & flavourful meet fun. Our creations are made locally, small batch & with great + simple ingredients. You can taste the difference. Our flavour creations are endless, some using dairy some not. (AKA we have vegan options). Our recipes are special & funky recipes plus they are chef inspired culinary creations.
Our first store was to be opened in Canada's first capital city, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario in April 2021. Our second store opened down the highway in Thorold, Ontario in May of 2021. (Covid 19, is delaying them both :))

Chef & Bub is named in memory of two of the best pups ever! They graced us with 17 years of fun and frolic and we miss them every single day.
